PROF. DR. NATALIA FUTEKOVA ABOUT TRENDS IN ERP SYSTEMS IN “BUSINESS LINE” TV SHOW ON TV “EUROPE”

Prof. Dr. Natalia Futekova has been a special guest in the “Business Line” TV show on tv “Europe”, where she talked more about the development of the ERP systems in Bulgaria, the specialists in the sphere and the ranking “Innovators in Education”.

“I have taken on my personal mission of uniting business and education, I think I succeed. I have 10 years of experience at a state university and I saw our best students wanting to go abroad to study. There is a lot of room for development in Bulgaria, and we need to think about how to motivate people to stay here, that our best minds should not run out. Gradually, I began to invite people from business to try to bring my education closer to the more realistic reality awaiting students after the university. I am glad that this kind of initiatives and personalities are becoming more and more in our country, “said Dr. Natalia Futekova.

Business management systems are among the hottest trends in the software industry. Today, business is looking for people who understand and use innovative technologies to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of their company. Achieving strategic business goals is virtually impossible without widespread use of information technology as they provide the environment for today’s business.

“Companies are ready to implement ERP, thinking in Bulgarian management has changed significantly. These systems are more or less studied in the universities themselves and are designed to help businesses and bring efficiency. Sytems are now available to small and medium-sized businesses, even for micro-enterprises, simply because they are very helpful to the business. In recent years, everything is web-based, companies want to put their business somewhere in the cloud and manage them easily, ” said Dr. Natalia Futekova.

Natalia Futekova, a managing partner of ERP.BG and a founder of ERP Academy, told more about the software available on the Bulgarian market.

“There are quality ERP systems created for the market here – our product is Bulgarian, and we are a 100% Bulgarian company. Bulgarian softwares are not worse than the western ones, they are very targeted for our market. Western software is not localized well enough for Bulgaria and our legislation, so big companies that use them have to use other Bulgarian software to manage their accounting and reporting. “

This year, the first ERP students in Bulgaria graduated. Master of Business Analysis and ERP Solutions is the first of its kind to prepare highly sought after and valued business software consultants. With it, students are realized not as programmers, but as professionals in the implementation, sales and maintenance of high-end business management solutions – professions that are becoming more and more sought after in the world.

The program has an economic focus, but focuses on how information technology helps to strengthen modern enterprises that strive to achieve their strategic priorities through the use of new technologies.

“Higher School of Insurance and Finance proved to be an innovative university for Bulgaria. They are doing a lot of joint masters programs, and so last year it was born idea to make a specialty that is targeting ERP systems in order to be able to form such specialists in our country. This is an extremely economic specialty that is not aimed at programmers. Much of our industry is precisely those business consultants. The program is of interest and the results are satisfactory – some people who showed good results during the training started working in our companies, others who were project managers in other companies and had yet to choose ERP systems, successfully made their choice, all managed to make valuable contacts with business. “

The field is very interesting and comprehensive. Business consultants who implement software must understand the business processes that take place in an enterprise very well and learn the ability to implement these processes in an ERP system so that it is maximally effective and optimized for the enterprise.

“Our specialty is different in that we want to take a full look at these systems. It also teaches BI, CRM, BPM, students see all systems. This is not a branded course with a system, it really includes all the systems that have a Bulgarian market. We have the ambition to turn the program into an MBA specializing in all legislative requirements, because in practice it is such, and when we do the English specialty, we can let it out and open the market for it,” said Dr. Natalia Futekova.
